Kirsten has been a fitness trainer since 1990 and has been working at the Saugatuck Rowing club since it opened in 2000. Kirsten teaches proper technique, injury prevention and strength building for speeding up the metabolism to burn more fat at rest. She also trains adults with the goal of preventing bone loss and physical decline that comes with aging and de-conditioning.
Strength training routines that focus on postural awareness in order to correct imbalances of the body. Injury prevention through progressive strength training that stresses proper technique and core stability. Preventing bone loss that comes with de-conditioning due to physical aging.
Kirsten’s sports include rowing, snowboarding, hiking, weight training, golf and gardening.
